Dataminr Launches Agentic AI and Raises $100M to Advance Technology

Dataminr Launches Agentic AI and Secures $100M in Funding

We’re pleased to share an important update from one of the key companies in our portfolio — Dataminr, in which Regolith invested early back in 2022.

On April 28, 2025, Dataminr announced the launch of Intel Agents — its proprietary agentic AI designed to enable real-time decision-making in response to cyber threats and corporate incidents. This initiative is part of the company’s new agentic AI roadmap, built on its earlier ReGenAI platform (2024).

Dataminr is taking the next step toward becoming a major player in global AI-driven security infrastructure, particularly in corporate, cyber, and government response sectors.

🤖 Key Highlights:

• Intel Agents are already integrated into Dataminr Pulse for Cyber Risk
• In 2026, the company plans to launch PreGenAI, a predictive analytics tool
• Dataminr has strengthened its position with $100M in funding from Fortress Investment Group to accelerate AI development

At Regolith, we see this as a significant step toward readiness for an IPO, which the company has hinted at informally. With the rapid growth of the AI market, Dataminr’s expanding team, and its strong technological leadership, the company’s valuation could significantly exceed earlier expectations.

For all investors who joined the 2022 round, this is excellent news — our portfolio is strengthening, and we are confident that the upcoming Dataminr IPO will be one of the landmark events of the next 12–18 months.
