Regolith Turns 5: From the First Deals to an International Platform

Regolith Turns 5: From the First Deals to an International Platform

On September 21, 2026, Regolith officially marked its fifth anniversary. The company’s story began earlier, in 2016, when the team was already working with investment deals and exploring opportunities across private and public markets. Regolith Capital Statutory Trust was established in 2021, and from 2022 onward the range of investment instruments continued to expand.

Over five years, Regolith has grown into an international platform offering a broad range of investment opportunities, from private-market deals and IPOs to ETFs, funds, real estate, and crypto strategies.

Today, the platform has 19,593 registered users across 97 countries, while the total investment volume through Regolith has exceeded $54 million

The past year alone brought several new products and major updates. ETFs launched on the platform in January 2026, Regolith introduced its own AI assistant Paul in August, and SLAT Fund has averaged around +2.18% per month under its Wheel Strategy, equivalent to an annualized return of approximately +26.11%. Regolith also participated in the SpaceX IPO in June, while the REGOLITH brand received federal trademark registration in the United States in the spring.

The Regolith community has grown alongside the platform. Regolith Travel and company clients have climbed Mount Ararat and Kilimanjaro, reached Everest Base Camp, completed the kora around Mount Kailash in Tibet, and in August 2026 reached the 3,776-meter summit of Mount Fuji during an expedition across Japan.

Regolith also regularly organizes giveaways for platform investors. In 2026, the top prize in the summer campaign was a trip to Japan. Over the years, prizes have also included iPhones, MacBooks, and expeditions with the Regolith Travel team.

From an Investment Structure to an International Platform

In 2021, Regolith Capital Statutory Trust was established as a private investment structure. It created the framework for working with financial instruments and derivatives in the U.S. market, participating in Pre-IPO and IPO deals, trading publicly listed securities, and taking part in transactions alongside major banking organizations and underwriters. Regolith Capital Statutory Trust also received an international Bloomberg LEI certificate.

From 2022 onward, Regolith began expanding its legal infrastructure and the range of available instruments. New areas were added alongside traditional financial markets, including cryptocurrency transactions, gold and precious metals arbitrage, commodities, and other investment strategies.

At the same time, the platform itself continued to develop. Separate investment opportunities were brought together into a single product where users can choose an instrument, execute a transaction, track their portfolio, and access different asset classes through one account.

Today, Regolith is available on the web and through a mobile app for iOS and Android. Users can register and complete verification, fund their account, choose an investment product, execute a transaction, and monitor their portfolio in one place. The account dashboard also includes transaction history, documents, performance data, and investment charts.

One Marketplace for Different Asset Classes

Regolith provides access to multiple investment categories through a single platform.

These include funds with regular distributions, private companies at the Pre-IPO stage, IPO participation, U.S. market ETFs, startups, real estate, automotive assets, mining, and cryptocurrency strategies.

Private Companies Before They Go Public

Regolith has been developing its Pre-IPO business since the platform’s early years, giving investors access to private companies before they reach the public market.

Over time, investors have participated in deals across space technology, fintech, software, crypto, and other high-growth industries.

Today, the Regolith Marketplace includes Pre-IPO opportunities such as Kraken from $68 per share, Discord from $83, MetaMask from $80 and Dataminr from $48. OpenSea, Abra, BitPay, and other notable private-market companies are also represented.

Regolith also works with more exclusive private deals. One example is Neuralink, Elon Musk’s brain-computer interface company. Regolith is currently accepting indications of interest for this opportunity.

The list of private companies available through the platform has changed substantially over the past five years. Some offerings closed after reaching their target allocation, others moved into later stages of development, and some eventually entered the public market. The most prominent example is SpaceX.

SpaceX: From a Private Investment to an IPO

In April 2022, Regolith invested in SpaceX at $15.90 per share, while the company was still privately held.

SpaceX completed its IPO on June 12, 2026, at $135 per share. After the listing, the stock showed significant volatility. It rose above $225 in the first few days, later fell below the IPO price, and recovered to around $150 by September.

After the 93-day lock-up period ended, Regolith closed its IPO position on September 14 at $147.50 per share, generating a +9.26% return. We are now waiting for the result of its earlier Pre-IPO investment in SpaceX. The lock-up period for that position ends in December 2026.

SpaceX became one of the most significant examples from Regolith’s first five years: the company was available on the platform long before its IPO, the private position was held through its development toward the public market, and Regolith later also participated in the IPO.

ETFs Launch in 2026

In 2026, Regolith significantly expanded access to the public market. On January 28, ETFs, or exchange-traded funds, became available on the platform. ETFs allow investors to gain exposure to dozens or even hundreds of companies within a particular market or sector through a single transaction.

Within several months, the ETF lineup expanded across a wide range of industries and investment themes, from the S&P 500 and artificial intelligence to semiconductors, robotics, energy, genomics, and precious metals.

The first months showed strong performance in several areas. As of September 18, ARKG had gained approximately 64.0% since its launch on Regolith, SOXX 47.9%, SMH 37.5%, VDE 27.8%, and AIQ 19.6%.

ETFs added liquid public-market instruments to the Marketplace, allowing investors to combine them within the same portfolio as private companies and Regolith funds.

Regolith Funds

Another major part of the platform is Regolith’s range of investment funds, each using different strategies and sources of return.

SLAT Fund

Since April 2026, SLAT Fund has operated an options-based Wheel Strategy through Interactive Brokers.

The fund finished April, May, June, July, and August in positive territory. Its average return was +2.18% per month, equivalent to an annualized return of +26.11%.

SLAT Fund Wheel Strategy returns for April–August 2026, averaging 2.18% per month and 26.11% annualized.

TRON Staking Fund

TRON Staking Fund generates income from TRX staking and the sale of energy on the TRON network, with regular distributions to investors.

By September 2026, 17 months after launch, the fund’s cumulative result had reached +64.72%, combining dividend distributions and appreciation in the value of TRX.

Mining Fund

Mining Fund provides exposure to cryptocurrency mining. The fund’s equipment is located in the United States and uses modern Antminer hardware.

Investors receive regular distributions generated by the mining operation, while the strategy adds a real infrastructure-based asset to the broader range of financial instruments available through Regolith.

Auto Fund

Auto Fund invests in the purchase, rental, and subsequent resale of vehicles in Dubai. The fund delivered positive results in 2024 and 2025.

Operations were temporarily paused in 2026 amid changing market conditions and broader regional factors. Before the pause, the fund had averaged 2.00% per month, while dividends over the previous 12 months totaled 18.29%. Regolith is currently waiting for activity to recover as Dubai’s high season returns.

Real Estate

Real Estate Rental Fund invests in residential rental property in Dubai, including worker accommodation in the Deira district.

The fund pays fixed dividends in U.S. dollars of 2.08% per month. In 2026, occupancy remained at 100%, supporting a stable rental income stream.

IPO Access Through Regolith

IPO investing allows investors to acquire shares at the offering price before regular exchange trading begins.

The U.S. IPO market became noticeably more active in the fall of 2025. The third quarter was the strongest since 2021, and Regolith began regularly opening access to new offerings. Among completed deals, Figure returned +61.40%, Legence +50.14%, and Neptune Insurance +45.70%.

This gives Regolith investors access to companies at different stages, from the private market and Pre-IPO to IPO participation and subsequent public trading.

Paul: Regolith’s AI Assistant

Technology has become another major area of development for the platform. On August 17, 2026, Regolith introduced Paul, a personal AI assistant designed to help users work with their investment portfolio and navigate the platform.

Paul uses the context of the user’s account to provide information about portfolio holdings, assets, investment performance, referral bonuses, and operations available on the platform.

Users can ask Paul which assets are currently in their portfolio, how performance has changed, where to find a specific investment product, or how to complete a particular action.

The first beta version is now live. In the future, Regolith plans to develop Paul into a full interface where key platform operations can be completed directly in chat after user confirmation.

Regolith Receives U.S. Trademark Registration

Another milestone in 2026 was the federal registration of the REGOLITH trademark in the United States.

The registration was completed on April 21, 2026, following a process that took approximately three and a half years. The trademark is registered in the financial services category, with the relevant information available in the U.S. federal registry.

For Regolith, the trademark became another part of the brand’s international infrastructure alongside the Regolith.com domain and the global platform.

With users across 97 countries, further development and protection of the Regolith brand in major financial markets is becoming part of the company’s next stage of growth.

Regolith News: The Company’s News Portal

Regolith News has developed into a separate media project, with more than 150 articles published covering investing, financial markets, and companies.

The editorial team regularly covers private and public markets, investment instruments, funds, cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, technology, and major developments across global markets.

Particular attention is given to companies represented in the Regolith portfolio and developments that may be relevant to investors. The portal publishes both timely news updates and in-depth analysis of companies, investment products, and market trends.

Regolith Cards for Platform Clients

In September 2026, Regolith opened Regolith Cards to all platform clients. A dedicated section for issuing and managing cards was added to the user account, and cards can be funded with USDT through the TRC20, ERC20, and BSC networks.

Two card types are currently available. Online Card is issued in Singapore on the Visa network and is designed primarily for online payments. Travel Card is issued in the United States on the Mastercard network, supports both online and in-store purchases, and works with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Both cards use USD as their base currency, support multicurrency transactions, and have a minimum top-up amount of $30.

Until October 1, 2026, Regolith Cards are available with a special launch offer: 50% off the card issuance fee plus a $30 account bonus.

The launch expands Regolith beyond investment products by adding a payment tool for everyday purchases, travel, and online services.

Regolith Travel: Expeditions With Clients

Over the past several years, Regolith Travel has developed into a separate part of the company’s community. Together with clients, the team has climbed Mount Ararat and Kilimanjaro, trekked to Everest Base Camp, completed the kora around Mount Kailash in Tibet, and in August 2026 reached the 3,776-meter summit of Mount Fuji.

Many of these trips became full expeditions documented by Regolith throughout the route. This resulted in films about Mount Ararat, Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, and the feature-length Two Weeks in Tibet, covering the journey to Mount Kailash and the kora around the sacred mountain.

Regolith on YouTube: Films, Reports, and Company Updates

The Regolith YouTube channel has become a place to follow the company’s development, projects, and major events.

It features Regolith Travel expedition reports, reviews of investment strategies and funds, interviews, company updates, and videos covering new projects and major developments.

Long-form Regolith Travel films have a special place on the channel. Episodes already cover Kailash, Ararat, Everest Base Camp, and the Kilimanjaro climb. Some are closer in format to documentary films than traditional travel reports.

Developing the Regolith Platform

As investment opportunities expand, the Regolith platform itself continues to evolve. The development team regularly releases new versions of both the web platform and mobile app, improving the interface, account dashboard, portfolio tools, and analytics.

Several notable features were introduced over the past year. The web interface was updated, navigation across the public website and account area was brought into a consistent design, and a more compact navigation format was introduced.

The mobile app added a portfolio value chart on the home screen, including the ability to view performance over the full investment period. Portfolio functionality also expanded. Users gained access to Close and Add Position functions, the Marketplace added a counter for active applications, promotional blocks were redesigned, and app stability was improved.

One of the most important additions of 2026 was Paul, which gives users direct access to information about their portfolio, investments, and platform features from within their account.

The Regolith app is available on the App Store and Google Play. Users highlight its interface, clear portfolio section, and broad range of investment opportunities.

Platform development also relies heavily on client feedback. Regolith regularly collects suggestions from users and incorporates them into future product development.

Today, Regolith is a unified investment infrastructure where users can access different investment products, manage their portfolio, monitor assets, review analytics, and work through a single account.

What’s Next

Five years is an important milestone for Regolith. Today, the platform serves 19,593 users across 97 countries, while the total volume of investments through Regolith has exceeded $54 million.

Regolith continues to develop its Marketplace, expand private-market and IPO opportunities, grow its ETF and fund lineup, improve Paul and the platform itself, and develop Regolith Cards as a new financial service for everyday payments and travel.

The next stage will bring new investment deals, further development of technology and services, broader international expansion, and more ways to manage different types of assets within a single platform.

Thank you to our investors, clients, partners, and the entire team for building Regolith with us.
